The current COVID -19 Pandemic has sent us all to homes. Though this trending WFH notion seems to be all alluring, deep inside we all are aware that it has its own challenges as well. Here are some tips that can help you to adapt to this new phase of work. 

Mimic Work Environment

We must admit at some point we all are guilty of being lazy, not paying full attention. Distractions at our home make us unable to concentrate. One way to avoid distractions and stay focused is to mimic the work environment. Set up a workspace at home. A cleaner and well-organized work desk will inspire you to be more productive.

Do a little Dress Up

Casual dresses we wear at our homes are all comfy but these on the go T-shirts and Pajamas might actually lessen your productivity. The deal is not to opt for a full business attire but giving yourself a little dress up before coming to your work desk can actually boost your enthusiasm and set your mood for the day.

Make a schedule

WFH we are prone to have a disturbed work routine. We tend to delay our work tasks for other things. Rather than adopting a haphazard pattern of work, it is better to make and maintain a schedule. Uncertain economic condition, social distance together with the sudden haphazard routine has made us anxious, stressed, and frustrated. We have become more physically and mentally vulnerable. Remember everyone is going through the same stress. Do not neglect your health. Eat healthy food and make sure to get timely sleep. Exercise is the best way to alleviate feelings of anxiety and stress. Incorporate some light exercises in your routine that you can do at your home. You can also adopt a new hobby which brings you joy and enhance happiness.

We must strive to adapt to this new phase of Work who knows this WFH is a temporary phase or a step heading towards revolution.
